Welcome to Cortesia Sanctuary

We at Cortesia Sanctuary are please to announce the official launch, on February 15, of our new website: www.onesanctuary.com. Here you will find a host of informative articles, resources and products related to the concepts of sanctuary and peace. You will also be able to "visit" Cortesia Sanctuary in Eugene, Oregon via a beautiful display of scrollable images.

In addition to the above, the website features inspiring music on several pages by the ensemble Confluence. Selections from their albums Sanctuary and Amber Moon appear as part of a feature called "Sanctuary for a Minute." In specific locations, linked to from the Home Page, you will be able to click on the song to let it play while you are scrolling through beautiful images on that page. Make sure you bookmark www.onesanctuary.com so that you can experience a little "island of grace" in your day with Confluence's special music.

Of course, you can purchase any of Confluence's CDs at the websites store, featuring Paypal check-out. The store, although modest at this time, also has some special items:
- the Peace Card
_ the new Peace Sanctuary Pole
_ Sanctuary signs
_ Cortesia Flower Essences
_ the famous Home Composting Made Easy guide (over 1 million in print!)
_ the nifty Compost Turner Tool at the cheapest price in the Universe!
and more.

We are dedicated to assisting people worldwide to understand the healing, regenerating, comforting and celebrative benefits of sanctuary in daily life. The website is loaded with dozens of articles written by Dr. C. Forrest McDowell and Tricia Clark-McDowell that explore the theoretical to practical applications of sanctuary.

Divided into four main sections, www.onesanctuary.com offers plenty of inspiration. Visit the Peace section to explore the many facets of this vital human need. Visit the Sanctuary section for all things about creating sanctuary - for your home, garden, in relationships, etc.. Visit the Inspiration Section to explore points of view by the McDowells and others. Finally, visit the Cortesia Sanctuary section to experience the beauty of this magical place - the nucleus of inspiration for www.onesanctuary.com.

Make sure you bookmark this Blog. This is your way to stay current on what is happening both at Cortesia Sanctuary and www.onesanctuary.com.

With reverence, peace & blessings always,
Forrest and Tricia McDowell
